The Best Array for Addiction Research

The development of the AddictID array started with support from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and in collaboration with leading scientists. Through this collaboration a list of genetic variants was assembled through validated research on smoking and addiction to develop the Smokescreen® Genotyping Array. The array's content was designed to support a variety of research goals related to addiction, smoking cessation, drug response and consequences of smoking.  Subsequently, we leveraged this same approach to expand the set of biomarkers to include other addiction areas such as opioids, alcohol, and other drugs of abuse.  As a result, scientists benefit from an end-to-end solution for anyone interested to incorporate genetics into their addiction research.

  • Products designed specifically for researchers interested in the causes of addiction and its treatment.

  • More addiction-related content, nicotine-related content, and tobacco-related content than any other commercially available array.

  • Ability to add content to genome wide arrays creating a low cost solution

The AddictID array is paired with advanced analytical software.  Furthermore, researches can take advantage of bioinformatics and statistical genetics expertise with integrated quality control and data analysis.  If processing support is needed, study samples can be sent one of our partner labs for all sample prep and processing work.  Thus enabling you to focus on the analysis.

Addiction Arrays in Development

Building upon the content provided in the Smokescreen Array, we are continuing to develop arrays in various other addiction related areas such as opioids, alcohol, and cannibis.  We are continually seeking research partners and would enjoy the opportunity to explore these or other areas of interest.  Please contact us to learn more.
